Aseptics concept with complete process technology for beverage preparation

All the functions in an aseptic line are based on consummately harmonised process technology for beverage production. At the Darguner Brewery, Krones has supplied a PET-Asept line including the dry end, the process technology and an LDS. The Darguner Brewery’s product range run on the PET-Asept line subsumes an enormous diversity of beverages, like fruit and multi-vitamin juices, not-from-concentrate juices, vegetable juices or smoothies. Milk-based mixed beverages are at the planning stage.
The process technology is accommodated in a separate process room together with the aseptic line. The interface to the syrup kitchen is the Contiflow mixer, which blends beverages with water in a mixing ratio of between one to four and one to ten.

The constituents of the process technology for the aseptic line:

• Product UHT system VarioAsept
  This UHT heating system has been designed as a tube heat exchanger, which means it is suitable for beverages with a pulp content too. Four heat-holding sections of differing lengths enable the various product groupings to be treated with the right times and the right temperatures. An aroma recovery feature for fruit-juice concentrates has been integrated.
• Homogeniser
  This system, earmarked for future production of milk-based mixed beverages, currently serves as a product pump for all product categories.
• Sterile-water UHT system AquaAsept
  One vital element in the process technology provided is the sterile-water UHT, which supplies the sterile water required for cleaning and rinsing the closures, containers and surfaces.
• VarioDos hygiene centre
  The process technology includes the cleaning and disinfection system, designed to make available all the chemical products required for dependable aseptics.
• CIP system VarioClean
  A separate room, with acid, caustic and hot-water tanks, has been provided for the VarioClean CIP system, which is also needed for effective cleaning.
