Contiform stretch-blow moulder in a drinking yogurt plant

At the end of 2005, Gropper Dairy in Bissingen, Bavaria, commissioned an aseptic PET line, rated at 18,000 bph, provided by Krones as a single-source supplier. Today, the dairy plant processes more than 500,000 litres of milk per day into yoghurt, cream and mixed milk products. The total production of the dairy in 2005 was approximately 460 million units.
After the delivery of a Contiform S12 stretch-blow moulder, a Sleevematic labeller, a Wrapapac packer, a Pressant palletiser and comprehensive conveyor technology for their first PET line in 2004, Gropper assigned the order for a second aseptic line to Krones as single-source vendor.
The second line processes preforms into PET bottles with a 38-mm neck in a second Contiform S12 stretch-blow moulder and feeds them to the H₂O₂ aseptic filler BLOC directly through the AirCo air conveyor.
