Weighing fillers - high precision for milk products

Expansion with ESL milk (Extended Shelf Life): Shamrock Farms, Phoenix, Arizona, fifth-largest dairy in the USA operates a Krones rinser-filler-BLOC for filling 8-, 12-, 32- and 62-ounce HDPE bottles at a speed of 24.000 bph.
The company was looking for rotary-type sterilization and rinsing on its filler block as that feature would provide them with a high level of sterility. To achieve this pivotal goal, Shamrock Farms selected the two-channel Variojet rinser with its disinfectant and sterile water process, in BLOC synchronisation with the 54-valve, Sensomatic VPGW weighing filler. The filler offers both simplicity and a high level of fill accuracy, and meets the 3A standard of the American market.
Another component of the rinser/filler BLOC is the foil sealer. After sealing, bottles go to the capper, which is also integrated into the rinser/filler BLOC. There the containers are topped off with one of several different types of functional or specialty caps.
