Filling technology for fruit juice products

Mosterei Möhl, Stachen-Arbon, Switzerland, is using a modern Mecafill bottle filler with CO2 pressurisation for minimising oxygen content. It optimally fills the different fruit-juice beverages in glass and in PET bottles.

Various individual filling concepts are provided for glass bottle filling:

Mecafill VKP

• Electro-pneumatically controlled mechanical short-tube filler
• Level-controlled filling system
• Single-chamber, counterpressure system
• Changeover to other bottles and fill levels using the quick change return gas pipe

Sensometic VPI 

• Electronic short-tube filling system with fill level control for conductive products by means of probe
• Counterpressure system
• Single-chamber or multi-chamber system
• Employment of swirl insert for gentle and low-oxygen filling of containers
• Fill level adjustment by changing the switching point of the probe installed on the filling tube
• Additional slow filling phase

Sensometic VPL 

• Electronic long-tube filling system with fill level control for conductive products by means of probe
• Counter-pressure system or pressureless filling
• Single-chamber or multi-chamber system
• Fill level adjustment by changing the switching point of the probe installed on the filling tube
• Control valves for fast and slow filling phase

Sensometic VPG 

• Electronic short-tube filling system with fill level control for conductive products by means of probe
• Pressureless filling or only slight ring bowl pressurisation (up to 0.5 bar)
• Single-chamber system
• Variants with control valves for fast and slow filling phase

What all systems have in common is the sturdy structure of the machines and the high hygienic quality of the filler concept involved. Of course, all systems are suitable for CIP cleaning.
